Whether you're looking to pick up some food and beverages or shopping for a new outfit for a New Year's Eve gathering, nearly every major restaurant, retail store and grocery store will be open on Dec. 31.
Some companies, like Costco and Trader Joe's, will only be open limited hours, so it is always best to check with your local store about their hours before leaving home, as hours and closures can vary by location.

Yes, Walmart stores will be open regular business hours (6 a.m. to 11 p.m.) on New Year's Eve.
